Zennor

Zennor

Zennor is a tiny, remote village on the wild coast between St Ives and Lands End, best known for the Mermaid of Zennor legend, tied to the medieval Mermaid Chair in the parish church, and for the time the writer D.H. Lawrence lived here. The coast path leads out to the granite headland at Zennor Head, some of the most rugged and unspoiled scenery on the Cornish coast.

My Zennor videos include Zennor in the autumn, Aleister Crowley’s house and how to get to it.

When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Zennor, covering parking, things to do, eating, staying, walks and what Zennor is like in autumn.
