Polperro

Polperro is one of Cornwall’s most picturesque fishing villages, with whitewashed cottages crowded around a tiny, sheltered harbour. The lanes are too narrow for most cars, so the village is best explored on foot, with smuggling history at every turn, boat trips along the coast and coast path access towards Looe in one direction and Lansallos in the other.

My video here is a wet and windy walk around the quaint fishing port of Polperro.

When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Polperro, covering parking and getting there, things to do, walks, eating, staying and history.
