Falmouth
Falmouth is a lively maritime town on Cornwall’s south coast, home to one of the world’s deepest natural harbours and a mix of student energy, sailing heritage and independent shops along its winding streets. It has excellent beaches on its doorstep, from Gyllyngvase to Swanpool, and the National Maritime Museum, with coast path access towards the Helford River.
My Falmouth video is a 60 second walk around the town on a beautiful summer’s day.
When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Falmouth, covering parking and getting there, things to do, beaches, walks, eating, staying, history, planning your trip and more.
