Hayle

Hayle

Hayle sits where the Hayle Estuary meets the north coast, and it is best known for the three miles of golden sand at Hayle Towans and Gwithian, among the largest beaches in Cornwall. The town has a working harbour heritage from its industrial past and a quieter, more local feel than some of its busier neighbours, with St Ives just along the coast.

My Hayle videos include a walk around Mexico Towans, Godrevy Beach on a sunny winter day and the Red Arrows display over Carbis Bay during the G7.

When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Hayle, covering parking, things to do, walks, eating, staying and birdwatching.
