Polruan

Polruan is a small, unspoiled fishing village on the Fowey Estuary, with steep, narrow streets tumbling down to a working harbour directly opposite Fowey and a short passenger ferry across the water. It is a quieter, more low key alternative to Fowey itself, with excellent coast path walking towards Polperro and Lansallos.

When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Polruan, covering parking and getting there, things to do, walks, eating, staying and history.
