Port Isaac

Port Isaac

Port Isaac is a traditional fishing village on Cornwall’s north coast, known for its narrow streets, historic harbour and winding lanes. It is widely recognised as the setting for the television series Doc Martin, yet it keeps a strong local character all year round, with coast paths leading to impressive viewpoints and some of Cornwall’s best seafood, including Nathan Outlaw’s acclaimed restaurant.

My Port Isaac videos include an autumn walk around a deserted Port Isaac and a look in and around the village.

When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Port Isaac, covering parking, things to do, walks, eating, staying and local facts.
