The Helford
The Helford is a hidden, wooded river estuary on Cornwall’s south coast, with sheltered creeks and quiet villages such as Helford and Helford Passage that give it a softer, more secretive character than the open coast nearby. It is known for oyster beds, riverside pubs and the Frenchman’s Creek scenery from Daphne du Maurier’s novel of the same name.
