The Roseland
The Roseland Peninsula is a quiet, unspoiled corner of south Cornwall between the Fal and Percuil rivers, with narrow lanes, sheltered creeks and sandy coves that give it a slower, more secluded feel than much of the county. It has pretty villages such as St Mawes and Portscatho, the King Harry Ferry crossing and some of the finest coast path walking on the south coast, largely away from the crowds.
When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for the Roseland, covering parking on the peninsula and some of its history and facts.
