Torpoint

Torpoint sits on the Rame Peninsula in south east Cornwall, facing Plymouth across the Hamoaze and linked by a chain ferry that runs continuously and has carried traffic across the water for generations. It is a gateway to the quieter, less visited Rame Peninsula, with coastal walks, historic forts and a slower pace than the busier resorts further west.

When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Torpoint, covering parking and getting there, things to do, eating, staying and history.
