Newlyn
Newlyn is Cornwall’s largest fishing port, and its working harbour gives the town a busy, unpolished character that is quite different from its prettier neighbours. It is also known as the home of the Newlyn School of painters, with the coast path running to Penzance one way and Mousehole the other.
My Newlyn videos include the harbour, a misty view of Penzance and Newlyn and a boat trip from Penzance to Porthcurno.
When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Newlyn, covering parking, things to do, eating, staying, local facts and fishing.
