Penzance-Porthcurno-featured

We were very lucky to have such great weather on a recent boat trip from Penzance to Porthcurno.

We booked the ‘3 Hour Wildlife & Minack Theatre Trip’ with Mermaid Pleasure Trips based in Penzance.

The trip started at Penzance Harbour at 11am. We headed past Newlyn, Mousehole, Lamorna Cove, Penbirth Cove, Logan Rock, Pedn Vounder Beach, Minack Theatre, Porthcurno and back again.

We saw seals, porpoises, tuna and numerous sea birds. We didn’t see any dolphins, whales or basking sharks but to be honest it didn’t detract from the trip at all. I was happy enough to be out on the sea on such a beautiful day seeing the wonderful Cornish coastline from a different perspective.
