Padstow
Padstow is a much loved harbour town on Cornwall’s north coast, built around its working fishing harbour and now just as famous for its food, thanks in large part to Rick Stein’s restaurants. It connects easily to the Camel Trail cycle path, there is a string of beaches nearby and a short ferry crosses the estuary to Rock.
My Padstow videos include an early morning stroll around the town, where you can see puffins in Cornwall and where Poldark was filmed.
When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Padstow, covering parking, things to do, beaches, walks and cycling, eating, staying, history, accessibility and planning your trip.
