During a stay at the Harbour Hotel in Padstow, a lovely accommodation, by the way, I woke early and decided to explore a little further than I usually do. Having visited Padstow a few times, I’d never ventured beyond the harbour and the nearby streets, but this morning promised something new.

There’s more to Padstow than meets the eye, and whichever direction I chose, I knew I’d be in for a treat. I didn’t have time for a long wander, a full English breakfast awaited at 9:30 but I made my way along the coastal path, soaking up the quiet charm of the early morning town and its surrounding coastline.

Padstow has so much to explore, and even a short stroll like this only scratches the surface. I can’t wait to return and discover more of what this beautiful corner of Cornwall has to offer.
