A Wander Around St Ives, Aug 24, Cornwall, UK (Full version)

You really can’t beat St Ives on a sunny day. Although it was quite windy, the gusts only added to the atmosphere along the exposed coastline. The sea sparkled under the bright light, and the sound of the waves carried across the harbour.

The town was full of life, with people making the most of the sunshine, a welcome sight during a Cornish summer when clear skies aren’t always guaranteed. Families filled the beaches, surfers and paddleboarders dotted the bay, and the narrow streets were busy with the relaxed buzz that only St Ives seems to have.

From the harbour to Porthmeor Beach, every corner of the town felt alive with colour and movement. Cafés and galleries opened their doors, seagulls drifted above the rooftops, and the air carried that familiar mix of salt and sea breeze. Even on a breezy day, St Ives has a charm that’s hard to match.
