Pendeen
Pendeen is a small village on Cornwall’s rugged west coast, its skyline dominated by Geevor Tin Mine, one of the best preserved mining sites in the county and now a museum and heritage attraction. It sits close to Pendeen Watch lighthouse and some of the wildest, least crowded coast path walking in Cornwall.
My Pendeen videos include Geevor Tin Mine, a circular walk from Pendeen Lighthouse to Morvah and back, churning rough seas, a close up of a sleeping seal and burnet moths.
When you are ready to plan a visit, my other website, Best In Cornwall, has guides covering parking, beaches, walks, where to eat and where to stay. Here are the ones for Pendeen, covering parking, things to do, eating, staying and local facts.
