In shot this video of wild moorland ponies and their foals in May 2023 near the entrance to Rough Tor on Bodmin Moor.
We were just returning to the car after climbing up Rough Tor when I decided to film this small herd of ponies with their foals that were busy eating and drinking from the stream just a short distance away from the car park.
I always love seeing the wild moorland ponies whenever I go to Bodmin Moor. This was the first time I’d seen so many wild moorland ponies with their foals in one location as usually they are scattered all over the moor.
