Here’s a snippet from a longer video I recently shot of a beautiful kestrel hovering at sunset at Land’s End. Watching this graceful bird pause mid-air against the glowing Cornish sky was a real highlight, a perfect example of the wildlife moments that make Cornwall’s coastline so special.

The way the kestrel hovers, scanning the ground below, is mesmerising to watch. Coupled with the warm hues of the setting sun over the Atlantic, it creates a scene that feels both peaceful and awe-inspiring. Even brief encounters like this are a reminder of the remarkable wildlife that thrives along Cornwall’s dramatic headlands.
