The Lizard Peninsula is one of West Cornwall’s most stunning areas and a personal favourite for walking at any time of year.
On this winter afternoon, we parked at the National Trust car park which is free for members and set off along the coast path. Turning left, we followed the path all the way to the Marconi Wireless Station at Bass Point before retracing our steps.
On the way back, we stopped near Lizard Point at the Polpeor Café, one of the best spots to sit outside, enjoy a snack, and take in the spectacular coastal views.
The combination of rugged cliffs, sweeping sea vistas, and quiet winter paths makes the Lizard Peninsula a perfect place to experience Cornwall’s natural beauty.
