Gunwalloe is a dramatic and historic cove in Cornwall, also known for being a Poldark filming location.
On this autumn afternoon, we parked in the National Trust car park and walked from Gunwalloe to Poldhu Cove, stopping for a warm drink before heading back. On the return journey, we were unexpectedly showered with seafoam, an unusual and almost magical experience that felt like being caught in a snowstorm.
This is a stunning walk at any time of year, combining rugged coastal scenery, historic charm, and the ever-changing moods of the Atlantic.
