Filmed in October 2024, this video captures another incredible bluefin tuna feeding frenzy at Land’s End. The sea was alive with movement as these powerful fish chased shoals of baitfish just offshore, breaking the surface with bursts of speed and strength that were remarkable to watch.

I spent a couple of hours at my usual spot, and this time the scene included a few fishing boats and even some curious seals joining the action. The combination of wildlife and open sea made it a fascinating session to film. Watching these enormous tuna hunt is an unforgettable spectacle, showcasing the raw energy and scale of Cornwall’s marine life.

Moments like this are what make filming in Cornwall so rewarding. Conditions can change in an instant, calm seas can quickly come alive with feeding activity, and you never know quite when it will happen. This was one of those special occasions when everything aligned perfectly, and the result was some truly memorable footage.
