Cycle From Penzance To Mousehole (Via Newlyn) And Back, Cornwall, UK

Join me for a scenic cycle ride from Penzance to Mousehole, following the coastal route through Newlyn before looping back to Penzance. The route may be short, but it offers an incredible mix of sea views, harbours, and Cornish character along the way.

Filmed in March 2024, this ride takes in some of the most picturesque spots in West Cornwall. Leaving Penzance, the road follows the promenade with open views across Mount’s Bay before reaching Newlyn, where fishing boats line the harbour and the smell of the sea fills the air. From there, the road narrows and begins to climb towards Mousehole, revealing glimpses of the coastline and the village below.

Mousehole itself is as charming as ever, with its small harbour, cobbled streets, and colourful cottages clustered around the water. After a short stop to enjoy the view, I headed back towards Penzance, retracing the same route but with the changing light giving everything a slightly different feel.

It is a simple but rewarding cycle, combining coastal scenery with the easy pace that makes exploring Cornwall by bike such an enjoyable experience.
