We were well into the coronavirus lockdown in Cornwall and the rest of the UK when I filmed this bike ride. Living so close to such beautiful countryside, I felt incredibly fortunate to have these peaceful lanes right on my doorstep.

This circular route begins at Trencrom Hill, before winding its way through the quiet villages of Nancledra and Ludgvan, and eventually looping back through the back lanes around Crowlas.

The roads were virtually deserted, offering a rare glimpse of rural Cornwall at its most tranquil. With only the sound of the wind and the occasional bird song for company, it was a reminder of how peaceful this part of the world can be, even during such an unusual time.
